Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at relieving pain, preventing disability, and restoring muscle function, adjusted to each client's capabilities.
• Assess clients' functional abilities through thorough diagnostic tests and evaluate their home environments, providing tailored recommendations to enhance their independence.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer manual therapeutic exercises and assist clients in performing non-manual and functional activities effectively.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to established care plans and provide guidance during treatment sessions.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary treatment team by contributing to case conferences, developing care plans, and reporting clients' progress and changes to their physicians.
• Document clinical records meticulously, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, adhering to OASIS standards and agency policies.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding treatment protocols, physical therapy devices, and overall rehabilitation strategies.
• Facilitate timely orders and documentation, ensuring compliance with branch policies.
• Engage actively in team meetings, contributing to discussions about best practices and treatment innovations in home care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of our services is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a reputable, accredited institution.
• Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as per the standards set by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, preferably focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Up-to-date CPR certification to ensure safety and preparedness in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home health care is preferred, as it allows for a deeper understanding of delivering therapy in a client's home environment. Familiarity with scheduling and documentation systems related to home care will aid in efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
