Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your orthopedic expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various musculoskeletal conditions in a home-based setting.
• Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, strength, and overall health.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and support staff, ensuring a high standard of care and adherence to protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify limitations and therapeutic needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Promote a culture of safety, adherence to clinical guidelines, and exceptional service within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a varied patient population, including adolescents, adults, and seniors facing orthopedic challenges. You will employ specialized techniques tailored to individual needs, including post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention, and chronic pain management. Experience in pediatric care is an asset for specialized cases. This position requires a compassionate approach to foster trust and rapport with patients, enhancing their engagement in recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure or certification in Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic evaluation, treatment modalities, modalities, and therapeutic exercises.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings or outpatient orthopedic facilities.
• Knowledge and proficiency in the latest orthopedic rehabilitation technologies and methodologies.
• Certification in CPR is preferred, in line with hospital policy.

Compensation and Benefits
