Work Environment

This role is primarily based onsite in our dedicated home care facility, located in Union, New Jersey. Here, you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals devoted to orthopedic rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, utilizing a variety of physical therapy techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Administer physical therapy modalities, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Mentor and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and hospital protocols in delivering care.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs that focus on restoring movement, strength, and functionality in patients post-injury or surgery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and changes in treatment plans as necessary.
• Advocate for patient safety by promoting a culture of attentive and individualized care in alignment with the organization's mission.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic patient population at Tria includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Our team provides personalized interventions and support to adolescents, adults, and older adults, with specialized expertise in pediatric care available for specific cases. This role emphasizes facilitating each patient's journey towards regained independence and improved function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with specialized training in orthopedic care.
• Active state licensure or certification in physical therapy is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating competency and effectiveness in practice.

Preferred Experience

• Exceptional skills in assessment and treatment planning specific to orthopedic conditions.
• Competence in patient education and strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and their families.
• CPR certification preferred, unless overridden by organizational policy.

Compensation and Benefits
