Work Environment

The position is primarily home-based, allowing for a unique interaction with patients in familiar settings. Working closely with patients, you will experience firsthand the impact of your care in their daily lives. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality orthopedic physical therapy services, including thorough assessments and tailored treatment plans that address individual patient needs and goals.
• Implement innovative techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance rehabilitation outcomes, utilizing tools such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education resources.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, providing updates and adjustments based on interdisciplinary feedback and patient progress.
• Provide patient education regarding injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-care techniques to foster long-term recovery and independence.
• Document patient assessments and progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and providing detailed reports for care planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our patients range in age from children to seniors, allowing for a varied and dynamic caseload that will enrich your professional experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated specialization or focused clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, underscored by a solid understanding of rehabilitation protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal qualities to effectively engage with both patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy or related fields.
• Experience working in home care settings is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
