Care Ring Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team as a full-time Home Care Specialist in Carteret, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position operates primarily onsite in our home care facility, where you will visit patients in their own homes. As part of our dedicated Orthopedic team, you will work in a dynamic and client-focused environment, utilizing hands-on techniques and personalized interventions to improve patient outcomes. Your flexibility may be required for weekend shifts, with a total commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and functional limitations.
• Developing, implementing, and updating individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and improve quality of life.
• Providing expert consultation to healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive continuum of care.
• Delivering effective patient education to empower patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
• Regularly documenting therapy sessions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with all legal and professional standards.
• Maintaining active communication with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and referral sources, ensuring that patient care is coordinated and effective.
• Participating in community outreach programs and continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff to ensure high standards of care are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your approach will be patient-centered, taking into consideration their unique circumstances and backgrounds. Expect to interact with individuals of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds, ensuring you adhere to our customer service standards while providing empathetic and personalized care.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings, ideally within home care.
• Skills in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities and protocols.
• A track record of skills in patient education and health coaching.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, you will receive an extensive benefits package including:
