Work Environment

This position is located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, and involves providing therapy services within patients' homes. As a member of our on-site team, you will work in various home settings, offering flexibility and a unique opportunity to build rapport with patients in their own environments. Collaborating closely with a network of healthcare professionals, you will be integral to a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, focusing on musculoskeletal health to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Design, implement, and modify personalized physical therapy interventions that align with the patient's goals, ensuring ongoing adjustments based on their progress.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and alignment with established rehabilitation objectives.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare providers—including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses—to facilitate a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, effective rehabilitation exercises, and self-care techniques to foster recovery and longevity in their health journey.
• Use therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques as appropriate to maximize patient outcomes and comfort.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery from surgeries such as joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Your ability to relate to and connect with patients will be crucial in motivating them and ensuring they adhere to their prescribed rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active state license as a Physical Therapist, compliant with regulatory standards and practice requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in physical therapy, demonstrating proficiency in orthopedic evaluations and treatment modalities.
• Deep understanding of orthopedic diagnoses, interventions, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience with home health care settings and familiarity with insurance processes related to home health services. Advanced certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

Resilience Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, reflecting your experience and skill set.
