Work Environment

This position is onsite, requiring the Physical Therapist to provide services directly in patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will assume the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, developing effective and personalized treatment plans.
• Consult with other healthcare providers regarding the patient's continuum of care, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
• Engage with patients of all ages and cultures, adhering to our high standards of customer service and professional interaction.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment protocols based on patient progress, while documenting evaluations and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in leadership initiatives such as community outreach programs and continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts.
• Document all treatment sessions accurately and submit charges for services rendered, maintaining precise records for compliance and billing purposes.
• Supervise and mentor support staff and therapy assistants, fostering a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse group of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or undergoing rehabilitation from injuries. Qualifications

Required qualifications for this role include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred).
• State licensure in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with New Jersey's regulatory standards.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in computer systems and documentation software.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are desirable:

• Previous experience in home health settings or outpatient orthopedic therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice methodologies and a solid understanding of patient rehabilitation principles.

Compensation and Benefits
