Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist within our home care facility, you will work directly with patients in their residences, providing personalized therapy in a comfortable and familiar setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs, using evidence-based evaluation techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's orthopedic conditions and functional goals.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides, ensuring they deliver quality care that meets professional standards.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and self-management strategies to enhance recovery.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with organizational protocols and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting various age groups, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, arthritis, and trauma-related disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure or certification in physical therapy is a must.
• A minimum of two years' experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required, providing a strong foundation in diagnosis and treatment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members are crucial.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in electronic medical records documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a home care setting is highly desirable.
• Board certification in orthopedics or specialty training in orthopedic therapy is a plus.
• Current CPR certification is preferred unless specified otherwise by organizational policy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.
