Work Environment

This position is located in Bayonne, NJ, and involves onsite visits to patients' homes for therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical conditions and medical histories to guide effective treatment.
• Collaboratively develop and adapt customized rehabilitation programs based on patients' individual recovery goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises to enhance mobility, strength, and endurance while utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Apply manual therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy and dry needling, to relieve pain and promote healing.
• Educate patients and their families on safe body mechanics and self-care techniques to support recovery at home.
• Track patient progress closely, revising treatment plans and approaches as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Engage with referral sources to build and maintain relationships that enhance our patient base and network.
• Maintain meticulous patient documentation in compliance with health regulations, contributing to data integrity and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Empathy and commitment to putting the patient's needs at the forefront of care.
• Exceptional manual skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), or other relevant credentials are highly regarded.
• Experience with broad patient demographics, focusing on sports injuries or orthopedic rehabilitation is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
