Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at VIP Physical Therapy & Wellness in Hoboken, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, operating within a Home Care setting. You will conduct assessments and treatment sessions in patients' homes, allowing for a comfortable and familiar environment that can enhance recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to assess mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve physical function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to effectively treat orthopedic conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, home exercise programs, and injury prevention techniques.
• Participate in the clinical instruction of interns and new staff, sharing knowledge and enhancing the learning experience in the workplace.
• Prepare and present at least one in-service annually to contribute to the ongoing education of team members.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and discuss patient progress.
• Gather and document patient outcomes and provide feedback for the continual improvement of services offered.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients ranging from post-operative recovery cases to those dealing with chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Your expertise will play a key role in helping these patients regain their physical function and reduce pain through tailored intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills with a focus on evidence-based practice.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to build rapport with diverse patients and families.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• Experience conducting clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and therapy documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
