Work Environment

This position is based at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Brooklyn, NY, where you will engage with a multi-disciplinary team. Our center is designed to foster collaboration and enable comprehensive care delivery. Physical therapists work alongside occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical staff to create holistic treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functionality, to determine appropriate therapy plans.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs that align with each patient's recovery goals and promote functional independence.
• Utilize diverse manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities, like therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, to facilitate recovery and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, teaching them recovery strategies, injury prevention techniques, and promoting general physical wellness.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care management and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Document patient progress diligently, revising treatment plans as needed based on measurable outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in care delivery.

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits
