Work Environment

Located in the heart of Kearny, New Jersey, Move Mend Clinic offers a stimulating and collaborative work setting that propels you towards professional achievement and personal satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics to assess patients' injuries and disabilities, crafting personalized treatment plans based on your assessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers about their conditions and provide training on effective self-management strategies.
• Deliver tailored physical therapy interventions utilizing advanced modalities and techniques to promote optimal recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate patient records and timely billing practices.
• Actively communicate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive and coordinated care.
• Supervise the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff while ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and training opportunities to enrich your practice.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Move Mend Clinic, you'll work with a wide variety of patients across different age groups, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your role will require adapting treatment approaches to meet the diverse needs of each patient, drawing on your clinical expertise to address conditions that range from acute injuries to chronic pain and disabilities.

Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
