Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our rehabilitation center in Newark, NJ, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring mobility for patients.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of each client to evaluate physical abilities and limitations using various diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate with physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective execution of care plans while providing mentorship and guidance.
• Create and adjust care plans based on patient progress and feedback, while engaging with interdisciplinary team members during case conferences.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
• Evaluate and recommend modifications for prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing education to clients and their families on proper usage.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Advise families and caregivers on rehabilitation strategies and functional activities that promote independence at home.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Calibre Ortho Care, you will primarily serve diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits
