Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our Elizabeth rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is designed to provide a welcoming and healing atmosphere for both patients and staff, ensuring that every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to patient care. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, assessments, and diagnostics to identify and address health objectives and rehabilitation needs of patients.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aimed at improving functional outcomes and quality of life.
• Provide effective physical therapy services, managing a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality care and attention.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and advanced manual therapy techniques to facilitate improved movement and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary, and maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, including evaluations, treatment plans, and billing information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on treating a diverse patient population with various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will be responsible for implementing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's unique needs, promoting mobility and function, and ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• A valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct physical therapy services in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions concerning licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Specific experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation protocols.
• A background in teaching or mentorship within a clinical setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health and vision insurance, paid time off, and bonus opportunities.
