Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center, located in the heart of Woodbridge, NJ. You will be part of a collaborative healthcare team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists who work together to ensure the highest standards of patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, allowing for a productive balance between professional responsibilities and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' physical therapy needs and establish personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing both manual therapy and exercise-based approaches, while monitoring patient progress consistently.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to review and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, proper use of orthopedic devices, and home care strategies to enhance recovery.
• Spearhead motivational support initiatives, fostering a positive environment that encourages patients to achieve their rehabilitation objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy and orthopedic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The population served at Reliant includes a diverse age range, requiring a tailored approach to treatment that respects the unique needs and goals of each patient. With a focus on restoring function and enhancing quality of life, your expertise will be integral to supporting patients at various stages in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey.
• Educational background consisting of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), to be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment.
• A strong commitment to team collaboration and patient advocacy.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience in physical therapy is welcomed, it is not mandatory. Candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow within the orthopedic specialty will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes:
