Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Developing personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive client evaluations that consider diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional tests.
• Overseeing the implementation of therapy by physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to care plans, and providing guidance for appropriate adjustments based on client needs.
• Conducting in-depth assessments of the client's home environment to identify appropriate modifications that promote independence and improve rehabilitation outcomes.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., traction, massage) tailored to individual rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team, participating in case conferences to optimize treatment plans and ensure comprehensive client care.
• Documenting clinical evaluations and progress notes accurately while maintaining compliance with relevant health regulations and agency policies.
• Engaging with clients and their families, providing education on physical therapy programs and techniques to foster self-management and independence.
• Playing a key role in clinical record preparation and professional development initiatives, including professional peer reviews and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers on providing care primarily to adult and elderly patients suffering from orthopedic issues arising from injury or chronic conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapy licensure in New Jersey, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits
