Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our vibrant rehabilitation facility located in Irvington, NJ. Our center is equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools, providing you with the resources needed to deliver superior patient care. The schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, giving you a balanced work-life integration while allowing ample time for patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans, tailored to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments, utilizing techniques and modalities that are consistent with best practices and patient-specific goals.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest standards of recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with the NJ State Practice Act and APTA's Code of Ethics.
• Provide education to patients and their families about treatment processes and home exercise programs.
• Engage in continuous professional development and supervision of any assisting staff to enhance team capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a diverse range, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients. You will become adept at handling orthopedic rehabilitation cases, tailoring your approach based on age-specific assessments and guidelines. By developing specialized treatment plans, you will play a crucial role in empowering patients through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing physical therapy services, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in evaluating and treating patients across various age groups, demonstrating comprehensive communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in specialized modalities or techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be viewed favorably. A familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems may also enhance your efficiency in documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits
