Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing each patient's unique needs, identifying specific goals, and developing tailored care plans based on various treatment techniques such as manual therapy, exercise regimens, and the use of therapeutic modalities.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' mobility and functionality, focusing on restoring motion and minimizing pain through personalized therapy.
• Encouraging patient engagement by providing motivation and education, helping them understand their treatment plans and the importance of home exercises.
• Creating and promoting fitness and wellness programs that address individual lifestyle needs and assist in the prevention of further injuries.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' progress meticulously, facilitating effective communication on their journey towards recovery.
• Collaborating with fellow healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including regular consultations and case reviews.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will directly benefit a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals experiencing musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with patients of varying ages, backgrounds, and physical capabilities, customizing your approach to meet their specific demographic and clinical needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; while a Master's Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation and managing musculoskeletal conditions.
• Demonstrated competencies in conducting patient assessments, treatment planning, and delivering direct patient care.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to navigate complex patient needs and adapt treatment strategies to various personality types.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting with a strong background in orthopedic case management.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for effective documentation and case tracking.
• Familiarity with functional performance testing and outcome measurements to evaluate patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to USD 130,000 annually, alongside potential bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
