Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your specialized knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy to assess and treat patients, crafting individual care plans to address specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patients' recovery journey.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapist assistants and technicians, ensuring that they perform their duties effectively while adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and occupational therapists to create comprehensive treatment plans that improve patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and response to therapy according to organizational standards and applicable regulations, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to work with adolescents, adults, and older adults undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. You will be responsible for treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including post-operative recovery, acute injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will help patients regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life through targeted rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Current active licensure or certification to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy principles and practices, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate and treat complex conditions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required, showcasing a strong track record of successful patient outcomes.
