Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Irvington provides a safe, welcoming setting where our Orthopedic team can thrive. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans that leverage a combination of therapeutic modalities and manual techniques to aid in patient recovery and promote mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective care that minimizes the need for medications and surgical interventions while maximizing patient comfort.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and adjust treatment regimens based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Educate patients on their conditions and the rationale behind their treatment plans, empowering them to engage actively in their recovery process.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment notes meticulously to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards.
• Promote lifestyle changes aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the rehabilitation team to optimize care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from fractures, joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The therapist will be expected to tailor rehabilitation strategies to the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that treatments are both personalized and effective. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse patient demographic, guiding them on their journey to restored function and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong knowledge of exercise development and implementation.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and other therapeutic intervention practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with rehabilitation software systems for patient documentation and progress tracking.
• Background in developing group therapy sessions to enhance community engagement.
• Additional certifications related to orthopedic physical therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
