This position is based in an onsite home care setting, allowing therapists to work directly within the community and address patients in their own environments. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional orthopedic physical therapy services to patients of diverse age groups, focusing on assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative techniques to optimize patient outcomes and enhance recovery processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and self-management techniques for sustained improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with established protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest research in orthopedic therapy to integrate new methodologies into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a wide-ranging patient population including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and rehabilitation post-injury. You will be instrumental in helping patients restore mobility, minimize pain, and regain independence, ensuring they can return to their daily activities and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Valid state licensure/certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and treatment skills in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster relationships with patients and collaborators.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, with a specialization in orthopedic physical therapy strongly preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations is a plus.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings options, paid time off, and professional development resources.
