We cater primarily to patients with private medical insurance, ensuring a supportive, resource-rich environment where our therapists can excel.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our Elizabeth, NJ facility, where you will engage directly with patients in a collaborative atmosphere. Unlike the traditional healthcare setting, our focus is on outpatient care, allowing for more personalized interactions and tailored treatment plans. You will be part of a committed team, consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, who all share a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions, effectively managing a patient load of one per hour to ensure focused and detailed attention to treatment.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and exercises tailored to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical options.
• Monitor and document the progress of each patient consistently, making adjustments to care plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback.
• Provide patient education on exercise regimens, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Engage patients actively throughout their recovery process, providing motivation and support to encourage adherence to rehabilitation protocols.
• Utilize electronic medical records systems (e.g., WebPT) efficiently for documentation and tracking patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Exemplary communication skills, able to influence and inspire clients towards achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting with a track record of positive patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT.

• Skills in facilitating group therapy sessions or providing community education on orthopedic health.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications, along with comprehensive benefits.
