Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is designed to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. Working alongside a close-knit team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will find a collaborative environment that fosters knowledge sharing and peer support. The center operates onsite, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable work-life balance while engaging you in hands-on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient mobility issues and establish their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients, dedicating approximately one hour per individual for personalized treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to develop and implement effective treatment plans leveraging advanced therapeutic techniques.
• Engage patients with cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at minimizing pain and restoring functional mobility.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols designed to enhance patients' physical capabilities.
• Encourage lifestyle changes by promoting health and wellness through improved strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes to ensure progress aligns with established patient goals.
• Document all patient care services, adhering to compliance standards, and maintain clear communication with colleagues and patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive care and support patient recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We emphasize individualized care pathways that focus on reducing reliance on medications and surgical interventions. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding each patient through their unique rehabilitation challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster their recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Unblemished professional record, free from board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and experienced in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, in documenting patient interactions and treatment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Specific background in sports medicine or with athletic populations is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
