Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This full-time position plays a crucial role in assisting patients to regain mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. Spanning 5000 square feet, our center specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and is committed to providing exceptional care for our primarily private-pay patient population. Our mission is to facilitate recovery through innovative treatments and a compassionate approach, ensuring our patients achieve their personal best.

Work Environment

Our facility is designed to create a welcoming and professional patient environment, equipped with the latest technologies in sports medicine. You will work alongside a small, cohesive team comprising two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) dedicated to patient-centered care and rehabilitation strategies. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life schedule for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify the care needs and goals of each patient.
• Manage an efficient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and quality care.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation process, enhancing their functional capacities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Provide educational resources and wellness strategies to encourage lifestyle changes promoting health.
• Document all treatments and patient interactions meticulously to maintain up-to-date health records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves a diverse clientele requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Patients often present with various conditions such as post-surgery recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will focus on restoring the mobility and functionality of these patients while closely monitoring their progression towards recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a higher qualification such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, without any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Proficiency in developing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Competence in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans.
• Familiarity with current physical therapy practices and innovations in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
