Work Environment

Our facility promotes a collaborative and supportive work culture where a small team of experienced professionals—comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant—work closely together to deliver outstanding patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced structure for both your professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' therapy needs, establishing clear objectives tailored to individual circumstances.
• Manage a typical caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient treatment delivery while maximizing therapeutic outcomes.
• Create individualized treatment plans that draw from a variety of evidence-based methods to enhance movement and mobility.
• Deliver cost-effective interventions that aim to reduce reliance on medications and prevent the need for surgical procedures.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop structured exercise programs that align with each patient's unique recovery goals.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide consistent progress assessments and adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Engage in continuous communication with patients to motivate and empower them through their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle habits by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our orthopedic outpatient practice, we cater to a diverse population of patients—primarily adults seeking rehabilitation due to sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our commitment to personalized care ensures that each patient receives dedicated attention throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a trusting relationship that is essential for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Must hold current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no prior disciplinary actions or board complaints.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to document patient care and manage schedules efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
