Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical condition and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual assessment results, utilizing evidence-based practices like exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including treatment interactions, modifications in therapy, and assessments of patient improvements.
• Continuously adjust therapeutic goals and treatment strategies according to patient responses and evolving needs, ensuring comprehensive care at all stages of recovery.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and the use of assistive devices as needed for improved mobility and self-care.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Engage in professional development activities, including attending workshops and conferences to remain current on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing children, adults, and the elderly, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation goals. Your ability to adapt therapy methods to individual circumstances will directly influence their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, as well as word processing capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits
