Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of Newark, NJ. Our facility is designed to facilitate rehabilitation in a welcoming atmosphere, featuring advanced equipment and resources that support your efforts in delivering high-quality physical therapy. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions to determine their unique objectives and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and functionality.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, typically one individual per hour, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention.
• Administer evidence-based therapies that are cost-effective and focus on enhancing range of motion without unnecessary reliance on medications.
• Design and implement comprehensive exercise programs, emphasizing rehabilitation techniques that promote long-term health benefits.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment, reinforcing their progress and celebrating achievements to encourage adherence to therapy.
• Document patient information thoroughly, including treatment progress and outcomes, utilizing EMR software like WebPT for accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, contributing to the overall success of treatment plans.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans as necessary, ensuring optimal recovery pathways tailored to patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Raze Orthopedics, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, focusing on restoring function and enhancing quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free from any board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Competence in utilizing electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable and will be beneficial in addressing patient needs effectively.
• Previous hands-on experience in formulating and executing rehabilitation programs tailored to individuals recovering from surgery.

Compensation and Benefits
