Key Responsibilities

• Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic physical therapy techniques and integrate evidence-based methods into patient care protocols.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose physical challenges and create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement hands-on therapy, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to optimize patient recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support continued recovery.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient care, share insights, and collaborate on treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to governing regulations to ensure compliance and quality assurance in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedics, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to positively impact patients of varying ages and backgrounds, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey and helping them regain mobility, strength, and function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience
