Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities by utilizing both standardized tests and observational techniques.

• Execute hands-on therapy using advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and innovative treatment methods to promote healing and restoration of function.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications required for optimal recovery and health maintenance.
• Monitor patient progress by maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of treatment sessions, adapting plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to contribute to an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy, integrating new techniques and evidence-based practices into your daily work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain, all within a home care setting. Your understanding of common orthopedic conditions and your ability to provide tailored therapy will be instrumental in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy, especially in outpatient or home care settings.
• Strong foundational clinical skills and a proven ability to perform and assess a range of therapeutic techniques in order to meet diverse patient needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position at Vital Solutions offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
