Maury Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to become a vital part of our well-established orthopedic outpatient multidisciplinary office located in the vibrant community of Hoboken, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play a critical role in the recovery journey of patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and long-term physical conditions.

Work Environment

This position is onsite and predominantly involved in home care settings, providing you with the opportunity to offer personalized therapy in the comfort of your patients' homes. The work schedule is designed for consistency, operating from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patient needs, utilizing comprehensive assessment tools to develop measurable and individualized therapy plans.
• Implement a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's specific recovery goals.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress diligently, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure that goals are met efficiently.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and self-management strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Maintain detailed patient documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy in treatment records and progress notes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and other physical impairments associated with various long-term conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Building strong relationships with patients based on trust and effective communication is key to motivating them through their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license is required.
• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical environment, preferably with a focus on orthopedic patient care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) will be favored. Experience in a home care setting or with multidisciplinary care models will also be a plus, enhancing your ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
