Position Overview

Liberty Sports and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is centered on providing high-quality, onsite therapeutic care in the home settings of our patients in Fairview, New Jersey. Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite, providing therapy to patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish individual treatment plans based on specific needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating pain, improving function, and enhancing the overall quality of life for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results, documenting all sessions accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education and training on exercises and home care techniques to foster independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, leveraging shared insights and clinical data to maximize patient recovery and mobility.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and contribute to the clinic's overall success by meeting minimum utilization goals and other organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will treat a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. This variety allows you to apply and expand your clinical expertise while directly impacting the lives of patients within the community.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with New Jersey's regulations.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including EHR platforms and standard office software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home health settings or outpatient physical therapy services.
• Familiarity with various treatment methodologies, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to develop rapport with patients and their caregivers.
• Prior experience collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient care quality and continuity.

Compensation and Benefits
