Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to design personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using proven techniques catered to each patient's unique needs, ensuring adherence to physician care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the significance of maintaining mobility.
• Utilize technology to track patient progress, document treatment plans, and adjust provided therapies based on evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize treatment outcomes and contribute to the overall success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse patient demographic in our Newark office encompasses various specialties, including orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurologic recovery, and sports medicine. You will work closely with each patient to develop tailored intervention strategies, focusing on their individual rehabilitation and mobility goals.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
