Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, which is designed to create a welcoming and healing atmosphere. You'll work alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and innovation in treatment methodologies. The facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation equipment and technology, allowing you to provide cutting-edge care to your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' conditions to create personalized treatment plans aimed at improving their mobility and function.
• Deliver one-on-one therapeutic interventions on a schedule of one patient per hour, ensuring quality attention and care.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, tailored specifically for orthopedic patients.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Educate and motivate patients regarding their treatment plans and healthy lifestyle choices to enhance their recovery process.
• Document each treatment session comprehensively in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, maintaining high standards of clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans that address patients' individual needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, each with unique recovery goals, which allows you to utilize your expertise in developing customized care approaches that lead to successful functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Active certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Must maintain a clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated competence in orthopedic therapy techniques and treatment methods.
• Strong ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, specifically with patients under private insurance plans.
• Proven skills in manual therapy techniques and knowledge of evidence-based practice approaches.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to assist in clinical documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits
