Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy evaluations and treatments to facilitate recovery, focusing on rehabilitation goals such as reducing pain, increasing mobility, and restoring muscle strength.
• Oversee physical therapy assistants, ensuring that treatment plans are effectively implemented and that best practices in patient care are maintained.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical capabilities using diagnostic tests to tailor rehabilitation programs suited to individual needs.
• Inspect and recommend modifications to clients' home environments to promote safety and independence, providing insights for enhanced living conditions.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and massage to aid in effective recovery.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring that all records comply with regulations and standards.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team by participating in treatment planning and case conferences to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about therapy techniques and therapies to promote adherence and understanding of treatment protocols.
• Stay accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during the execution of treatments to guide and support their clinical interactions with clients.
• Complete various administrative tasks and duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and adherence to company policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• One (1) year of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an acute care or home care setting, or as mandated by state law.
• Active and current Physical Therapist licensure in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification in good standing.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
