SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Edison, New Jersey. This pivotal role involves guiding patients on their journey to restore mobility and enhance function, ensuring their path to recovery is as smooth and effective as possible. Work Environment

This role will be based onsite at our Edison facility. The environment is designed to foster professional growth and collaboration among healthcare practitioners, emphasizing quality care in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The clinic is equipped with advanced technology and treatment modalities aimed at enhancing rehabilitation outcomes. You will work alongside two fellow physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) within a fully supportive team structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs, set treatment goals, and develop customized rehabilitation plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality attention and care.
• Utilize various treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities aimed at pain relief and functional improvement.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the therapeutic processes to encourage active participation in their recovery plan.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary based on observed outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to formulate holistic care strategies, ensuring cohesive patient management.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs designed to enhance patient health and prevent future injuries.
• Promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle focused on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of cases, honing your expertise in manual therapy techniques and designing programs aimed at optimizing recovery. Our focus on outpatient care allows for personalized attention and a consistent treatment atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy practices and techniques.
• Proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual health needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in a similar orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with injury prevention and rehabilitation from athletic events is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with patients, fostering an environment of trust and support.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
