Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical limitations, pain levels, and overall mobility.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and individual patient needs.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress through detailed records and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, injury prevention techniques, and necessary lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse demographic of patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Our clients range from young athletes to older adults, allowing you to apply your expertise across various age groups and health backgrounds. Our aim is to empower patients by building their strength, improving mobility, and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with preference given to candidates with a Master's degree.
• Possession of a current Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care while providing empathy and understanding to those in pain.

Preferred Experience
