Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing assessment tools tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient progress and specific orthopedic needs.
• Deliver hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide education and instruction to patients and their families regarding home exercise regimens, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will not only aid in physical rehabilitation but also empower patients by educating them about their conditions and recovery paths. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
