Work Environment

This position is located onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Plainfield. Our clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and modalities designed to support effective treatment plans. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes orthopedic surgeons, pain management specialists, and other healthcare professionals working together to create personalized treatment strategies for all patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of orthopedic patients to assess their physical capabilities and identify specific areas of dysfunction.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs and self-management strategies that reinforce therapeutic progress and promote independence.
• Collaborate closely with a range of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care tailored to each patient's unique needs and treatment goals.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment protocols, and progress notes accurately to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals suffering from a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain syndromes. We value the holistic treatment of our patients, focusing on their physical rehabilitation as well as providing compassionate support throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, including internships and professional practice.
• Strong foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with developing and implementing treatment plans that utilize innovative techniques such as dry needling or advanced manual therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Background in pain management strategies that integrate physical therapy with other modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
