Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial evaluations for patients experiencing orthopedic injuries, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
• Building and implementing detailed, individualized treatment plans based on your assessments, including goal-setting tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Tracking patient progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Providing education to patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and effective home exercise routines.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintaining meticulous, up-to-date patient documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population with a focus on those experiencing orthopedic conditions. This includes sports injuries, fractures, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist (PT) license within the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical settings, particularly in orthopedics, geriatrics, acute care, and outpatient physical therapy.
• Proficient skill set in orthopedic assessment and patient care planning, including a solid understanding of treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, enabling effective patient interactions and teamwork.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with a strong focus on quality care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Experience in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarity with outcome measurement tools are highly desirable. Additionally, experience in interdisciplinary care models and approaches to patient engagement will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
