Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with orthopedic injuries or conditions, utilizing established clinical evaluation tools.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities aimed at reducing pain and improving function.
• Continuously monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changing patient needs.
• Educate patients on effective rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs, empowering them on their recovery journey.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies, ensuring high standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on patients with orthopedic concerns, ranging from sports injuries to post-operative rehabilitation. You will work with a diverse demographic, including young athletes, active adults, and older adults seeking to regain mobility. Your expertise will significantly impact their recovery trajectories, enabling them to return to their desired activities and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic assessment and rehabilitation techniques along with patient care planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge meaningful connections with patients and team members alike.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities, enabling effective management of patient caseloads in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3-4 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatrics, acute care, or similar settings.

• Experience in developing patient-centered education materials and programs that support patient engagement and compliance.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
