Our skilled team comprises experienced physical therapists and skilled support staff who work collaboratively to create a supportive and effective therapy environment for patients.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position where you will work directly in our outpatient office setting in Newark, NJ. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools, creating an environment conducive to delivering exceptional care and achieving positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and establish treatment goals.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Employ cost-effective therapies to optimize clients' range of motion and body function, with an emphasis on minimizing reliance on medications or invasive procedures.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that reflect each patient's unique goals, challenges, and health history.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their treatment process to promote recovery and restore functionality.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of all services provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication regarding treatment goals and changes.
• Maintain an updated knowledge of current physical therapy techniques, trends, and advancements in the industry.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adult patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions, tailoring your approach to meet diverse health and fitness needs. The patient demographic is varied, incorporating a wide range of physiologies and rehabilitation challenges, offering an enriching experience for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license is mandatory.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in designing and implementing effective exercise programs that engage and empower patients.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
