Work Environment

The role of Physical Therapist is based onsite at our advanced outpatient facility located in Newark, New Jersey. Our outdoor-savvy location allows easy access for patients, enhancing convenience and attendance. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, while integrating evidence-based practices.
• Manage a reasonable caseload, ensuring that each patient receives quality time and attention tailored to their progress and requirements.
• Encourage patients through motivational strategies, fostering a positive therapeutic relationship to enhance their adherence to treatment protocols.
• Educate patients about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the role of physical therapy in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and accurate records of patient assessments and treatments using EMR software, particularly Web PT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Regularly assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring a collaborative approach to care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Our clinic emphasizes restoring mobility and functional independence through customized programs focused on achieving individual patient goals. The collaborative healthcare model ensures patients receive an integrated approach to their rehabilitation, enriching their recovery experiences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• No prior history of sanctions or board proceedings concerning licensure.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic outpatient care principles and techniques.
• Exceptional ability to develop and implement successful exercise programs to promote patient wellness.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for documentation and patient management.
• A deep commitment to staying current with research-based advancements in physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly with diverse patient populations and rehabilitation needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

SaniCare Rehab Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
