Position Overview

TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our compassionate and dynamic team. Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence in our busy rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our center's vibrant work environment is characterized by teamwork, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to superior patient care. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual goals and limitations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and a variety of treatment modalities to support recovery.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, treating one individual per hour, which allows for focused attention to each patient's specific needs.
• Utilize your manual therapy skills to enhance mobility and reduce pain in patients.
• Design and deliver personalized exercise protocols and wellness programs that encourage optimal health outcomes.
• Monitor progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring effective communication with patients about their recovery journey.
• Document patient interactions and treatment results accurately using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain high-quality records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and to support the continuum of care.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation, providing encouragement and support to help them achieve their personal health goals.

The patient population at TheraSense includes individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our focus is on restoring functional mobility and improving quality of life, with an emphasis on educating patients about injury prevention and long-term wellness strategies.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge and proficiency in orthopedic conditions and appropriate treatment techniques.
• Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with patients and establish a rapport.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience working with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team to enhance patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
