Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technology in sports medicine. We cater to an extensive range of clients, primarily focusing on patients with private medical insurance. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our collaborative approach, featuring a skilled team of physical therapists, including two licensed PTs and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center located in Newark, New Jersey. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their objectives and specific needs within a therapeutic setting.
• Manage a standard patient load of one person per hour, ensuring each receives high-quality individualized care.
• Implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a blend of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's condition.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, motivating them throughout the healing process to improve functional capacity.
• Employ cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing reliance on medications and surgical interventions whenever possible.
• Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, modifying care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and maximize the effectiveness of treatment.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices to ensure delivery of the most effective treatments.
• Contribute to a positive work atmosphere through constructive communication and teamwork.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, primarily consisting of patients with orthopedic issues, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions or board infractions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a focus on achieving measurable patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
