Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will become a crucial partner in guiding our patients on their journey to recover mobility and achieve optimal function. Your responsibilities will encompass promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, directly impacting your patients' quality of life.

Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center is a premier outpatient physical therapy practice, committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. Our state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot facility is designed to support advanced sports medicine and rehabilitation practices in a welcoming and therapeutic atmosphere. Our dedicated team includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) who collectively strive to provide top-tier service, particularly focusing on patients with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

As part of our office team, you will work onsite in an outpatient office environment from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and therapy tools, creating an optimal working space for both therapists and patients. You will collaborate closely with fellow health professionals to implement care strategies aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and requirements, developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.
• Effectively manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to deliver personalized physical therapy interventions, enhancing functional abilities.
• Employ diverse treatment techniques and develop comprehensive care plans that include rehabilitation protocols and exercise regimens.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the importance of therapy, encouraging commitment to their treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.
• Document patient progress meticulously, assessing the effectiveness of treatments and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize comprehensive patient care.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive outlook on their recovery.
• Focus on minimizing the need for medication through innovative therapy practices, making a significant contribution to patient well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve primarily consist of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal issues. Our focus is on providing individualized treatment that respects each patient's unique challenges and goals. We pride ourselves on a patient-centered approach that emphasizes open communication and collaboration to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a current license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No disciplinary actions or board measures against your professional license.
• A deep understanding of manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients and demonstrate a commitment to their rehabilitation and wellness journey.
• Skillful in designing and implementing personalized exercise programs tailored to different recovery stages.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience, qualifications, and contributions to our organization.
