Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Utilizing your expertise to develop customized physical therapy treatment plans that aim to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore muscle function based on individual patient assessments.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities through diagnostic tests assessing muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Collaborating with physical therapy assistants under your guidance to ensure the successful implementation of treatment plans that facilitate patient recovery.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and physical agents such as traction and massage, thereby enhancing mobility and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Evaluating home environments to recommend adaptations that promote independence and functional capabilities for patients receiving home care.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to review and adjust patient care plans, ensuring comprehensive treatment across all disciplines involved.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy practices and effective home exercise programs.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
