Work Environment

The position is onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work closely with a small, collaborative team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). We cultivate a positive and professional atmosphere that prioritizes patient care and fosters teamwork. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable and balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' specific goals and requirements, creating individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring that each session is focused and productive.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective physical therapy treatments, enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Implement alternative strategies to medications and surgeries, helping patients achieve their health objectives more naturally.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, tailored specifically to the patient's condition and lifestyle.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to take control of their health and encourage independence.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to optimize their functional capabilities.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through therapeutic exercises.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are addressed.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes by monitoring patient progress and maintaining clear, detailed documentation of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help clients of various ages regain functionality and improve their movement capabilities, catering to individual goals while promoting healthy living.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must hold an active and valid state license for physical therapy practice.
• Strong professional reputation with no history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols aligned with patient needs and conditions.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient care efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desired, as it will enrich your capability to provide targeted care.
• Prior experience managing diverse patient cases while employing tailored treatment approaches is advantageous.
