Access Control Physical Therapy & Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our Highland Park, New Jersey facility. This full-time role requires hands-on expertise in rehabilitation practices to assess, plan, and deliver superior outpatient orthopedic care. The successful candidate will be working onsite at our fully equipped rehabilitation center located in Highland Park, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the state practice acts relevant to physical therapy—the role includes understanding the specific laws governing PT practice, including supervision protocols.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their functional limitations and developing individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement treatment protocols effectively based on evaluation findings and the unique presentations of each patient.

• Document patient progress meticulously, including initial evaluations, daily notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations, ensuring clarity and thoroughness in all records.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, recognizing changes in patient conditions and addressing them proactively through appropriate consultations.

• Engage in effective discharge planning and ensure patients receive adequate follow-up care post-therapy.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain compliance with all regulatory training and requirements related to corporate and clinical services.

• Attend and contribute to facility meetings, enhancing teamwork and communication across departments.

• Actively participate in initiatives aimed at removing barriers to patient access and improving overall service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on patients with musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative recovery, and various orthopedic conditions necessitating skilled rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist at Access Control, you will be integral in designing and executing treatment plans that underscore our commitment to patient-centered care, ensuring our clients receive tailored interventions that significantly enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.

• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is necessary to ensure familiarity with diverse patient needs and treatment modalities.

• Current CPR Certification is required to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment is highly desirable.

• Exposure to electronic health record systems to facilitate streamlined documentation and communication is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
