Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical conditions using standardized assessment tools, identifying areas for improvement and guiding treatment plans.
• Develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities including manual therapy, exercise, and patient education.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and modalities, including therapeutic ultrasound and electrical stimulation units, to facilitate recovery.
• Educate and empower patients by providing instructions on injury prevention and self-management strategies they can implement at home.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records through our innovative electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring all treatment sessions are documented and accessible to the care team.
• Participate in case conferences, quality assurance meetings, and continuing education workshops to enhance clinical competencies and stay abreast of the latest rehabilitation trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients who have undergone surgeries or suffer from musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be vital in helping these individuals regain optimal function and return to their daily activities, enhancing their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited program is required.
• A strong foundation in clinical reasoning and manual therapy techniques is essential for success in this role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience
