Work Environment

This position is based in a home care setting, allowing you to provide therapy services directly in the homes of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their specific physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and design comprehensive, individualized treatment plans to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients on the correct execution of therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Utilize techniques such as manual therapy, stimulation, and massage to enhance the healing process.
• Assist patients in the effective use of mobility equipment including wheelchairs and walkers.
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records that track goals, treatments, and outcomes.
• Provide skilled advice to patients and their families regarding home treatment options and exercises that promote continued recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.

Preferred Experience
